Description

Vintage kitchen ware food prep tool for nuts, onions, spices. Consists of three pieces with components including a one cup capacity clear handled measuring cup produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company, a fitted slide on red painted metal topper with a spring plunger, wood knob and 4 blade chopper, along with a wood disk that fits into the bottom of the jar to protect the glass. The measuring cup is embossed with the HA logo on the underside and has hash marks and lettering for cups and ounces. DIMENSION: Total height is 8-1/2 inches. The measuring cup stands 4 inches tall, with a top opening of 3-1/8 inches. CONDITION: The glass measure is in great condition with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. Wood disk shows some wear from the chopping blades as pictured, also has what appears to be a burn mark at one edge. The topper plunger works smoothly, the wood ball knob is intact and in good condition with no paint loss, the paint on the metal exterior exhibits some areas of discoloration, as do the blades (see photos).
